The Four Poster is a family run Guest House situated in the heart of Llangollen. It is close to the historic bridge spanning the River Dee and is ideally located for visiting the many attractive shops and the excellent restaurants and bars of this picturesque Welsh town. | It is also very convenient for walkers, cyclists, canoeists and angler exploring the spectacular local countryside, or as a centre for those venturing further afield to Snowdonia, the North Wales coast or the nearby towns of Wrexham, Chester, Oswestry and Shrewsbury. |

Converted from a row of 17th century weavers' cottages, the Guest House has retained many of the original features, including low ceilings with exposed beams, and has great charm and character. It provides comfortable accommodation with a warm friendly welcome.

Centrally heated and double glazed throughout, all rooms are en-suite and are furnished to a high standard. They are fully equipped with colour TV, trouser press, hair dryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have four-poster beds and there is a family unit consisting of a double room and a twin bedded room, which is suitable for a family or up to four adults. |

The atmosphere is informal and relaxed. A full Welsh breakfast is served in the dining room from 8.30am until 9.30am (or earlier for those making an early departure) and packed lunches can be provided by prior arrangement. There is also a resident's bar and ample, secure car parking. Guests may check in at any time after 2pm on the day of arrival and are asked to vacate rooms by 11am on the day of departure. This is a non-smoking establishment and regrettably, there are no facilities for pets. |
To check tariffs and availability, or to make a reservation, a telephone call is recommended - but a letter, fax or e-mail will also receive prompt attention. Short breaks are available all year round, excluding bank holidays, from 1st October to 31st March for a minimum of two nights, and from 1st April to 30th September for a minimum of three nights. |
